Revelations, Bare and The Demon Within. are the short films of mine which have screened at international film festivals world-wide. I'm responsible for writing, directing and animating all of them (with  a great team around me for each.)  Sources and Impacts of Marine Litter  was an animation commission that gained invites to a number of film-festivals after it went viral on the Marlisco website.

Timpeall

Timpeall was one of those collaborations that was a joy to work on. I was commissioned by Graffiti Theater to write and direct a sister piece to their charming theatre play - Trasna. With writer Denis Ryan, artist Olan Wrynn, technical director Stephen O'Connell and the cast and crew of Trasna from Graffiti we devised this piece which later went on to screen at Indie Cork film festival.

The Lockers Series

For Your Eyes Only and Just For Fun are 2 pieces that are intended to be part of a wider series called Lockers that raises awareness amongst teens of issues relating to cyber bullying and cyber safety.

I was employed by Looks Loud Productions as a director and animator for these two pieces and we were commissioned by PDST Technology in Education for their Webwise programme.

Both pieces are mixed media - incorporating live action and animation. We wanted to give each locker a different feel that corresponds to the character's personalities.  Just For Fun plays with the notion of peer pressure leading the boyfriend into a stupid mistake while For Your Eyes Only follows the impact that the sext going viral has on the girlfriend.

I was really glad to once again work with a great team of talented actors, writers, musicians & crew - too many to mention here but definitely - check the credits.

Like Lisa

Claudia Schwab is a really talented violinist and composer and it was great fun to work on her music video. The aim was to bring her album cover to life in a musical journey. The great drawings were provided by Lisa Cannon and the video of Claudia playing was shot by Mark Power.

The animation was created using a mix of Anime Studio Pro and Motion 5.

Claudia's album is called Amber Sands and can be found on www.claudiaschwab.com
